Hi all! Its already the 2nd of January 2015, we are already 2 days into the new year. I wish all of you a very happy New year, filled with happiness, joy and love. 2014 was an absolutely an amazing year. For me it was the year of contemporaries. I branched myself into that genre and found myself absolutely loving it. My reading during 2014 was super burb I read over seventy books! for me that is a big accomplishment. During the year of 2014 I finally read a colleen hover book (three actually), finished a number of series, read a classic and so much more. I am sad to say that this will be my last entry on this blog. Its my last because lately I have just been up to so many new things, creating new projects, preparing myself for my last year of school and getting everything together so hopefully at the end of the year I can apply to university's and with this new year, school, work I feel as though I wont have time for this blog, I don't want to keep this blog up and post bad quality reviews and posts, I don't think its fair to you guys, I want to leave on a good note. Although I have only had this blog for a short period of time I loved every second of it. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, read my reviews and discussions, to all the authors that I have been working with thank you. Perhaps in the future I might resurface this blog, what ever happens will happen. The New year is full of possibilities and opportunities you just have to go for it. Thank you once again for following my blog.

So if you have been following my blog for a while now you know that the Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead is one of my favourite, if not favourite book series of all time. I just very recently finished read Silver shadows which was the fifth and second last book in the series. My gosh was that book good!! Right after I finished the book I browsed the internet and goodreads (as you do) to see what was happening with last book. The book cover, release date and synopsis has been released. Mark your calenders guys for February 10th 2015. The wait is not that long! The title of the book is called The Ruby Circle, I wonder what that means? I am so pumped and excited, its definitely my most anticipated book of next year. Anyways below is the synopsis of the last installment:
Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets—and human lives. After their secret romance is exposed, Sydney and Adrian find themselves facing the wrath of both the Alchemists and the Moroi in this electrifying conclusion to Richelle Mead’s New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series. When the life of someone they both love is put on the line, Sydney risks everything to hunt down a deadly former nemesis. Meanwhile, Adrian becomes enmeshed in a puzzle that could hold the key to a shocking secret about spirit magic, a secret that could shake the entire" Okay I'll give you guys a minute to just ,mentally digest that blurb. I have seriously read the synopsis a million times trying to uncover what it all means it is driving me crazy. I know there is only one book left but there still so much to reveal, so I'm hoping this book is like 900 pages long! I'm expecting an epic battle in the end, I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that all those from vampire academy and bloodlines will appear in this book, that would be fantastic! I have no doubt that the talented Richelle Mead will deliver just that. All that is left now is to wait. And before I forget what do we think of the cover? So you know that contemporary binge I was on last month, I am still currently on it! So I thought why not continue with my small mini contemporary reviews. These reviews are a little more in depth than my other ones. I was watching a video just the other day and it mentioned something in particular that really got me thinking. The video mentioned how through the past year or two the number of actual book stores have decreased and that we, as in us readers should really support our book stores, visit them and buy from them, I completely agree! Don't get me wrong, I love ordering my books from the book depository and other online websites but browsing the shelves of a book store and choosing a book that you've wanted to read for along time, taking it to the register, paying for it then taking it home with you, is a feeling no online website will ever give you. I don't think I'm alone in that. At the rate where going bookstores may not even be around when we have children, which is pretty sad to think about. I only have one book store that is somewhat close to where I live, other stores have either been closed down or are really far away.
A couple months back I read The One which is the last book in The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I know most of you are familiar with this series as it is a very well known contemporary. I absolutely loved it and I thought the end was very satisfying. The One was the last book in the trilogy, but so I thought, that is not the case, there is a book four in the writing and soon to be a book five! I just found out very recently when the title of the fourth book was released. The title of the fourth book is The Heir. Is it just me or is that title suggesting that America and Maxon had a child? My mind is going crazy, there are so many questions! I believe that sometime next year it will be released, but don't quote me on that. This never happens! When does an author finish a series and everything ends perfectly then after a few months later decides "No...I want to add another two books to the series!". What are your guys thoughts on this? Do you think its a good idea or do you think the series should be left on the note at which it was originally planned? Personally I have mixed feelings but overall I am quite excited, I very much enjoyed the story, the characters and the concept of the world Kiera Cass created. So more books with all of that sounds pretty good to me and if I get to read about Prince Maxon again I am not complaining! Below I linked a video that I watched about this topic, it's of Kiera Cass pretty much explaining about writing these two new books. I guess we shall wait and see. Feel free to comment below I am very interest to see what everyone else thinks.
