My Rating | MY ThoughtsI finally watched this movie! and I just loved it so much. It blew my expectations over the roof, I knew that it was going to be good but it was 101 times better than I thought. The fault in our stars was a perfect book to movie adaptation in my opinion. I know personally when it comes to book to movie adaptations I am quite a hard critic but I had nothing negative to say about the movie. It was so amazing to have read a book like the fault in our stars and then have a director Josh Boone create a movie that just puts a series of words and sentences onto screen. Both Ansel and Shaliene played the main characters Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace just perfectly and on par. Their chemistry on screen was phenomenal. They are truly amazing actors. This movie was just a roller coaster of emotions, I had my self all teary eyed in so many scenes. All the cute romantic moments Hazel and Augustus shared was just the most cutest and adorable thing ever. Even though I knew what was going to happen as I previously read the book, every moment felt new to me and all the emotions and feelings I had in the book I had during the movie. This movie made me wish An imperial affliction by Peter Van Houten was a real book that I could read. In addition to the main characters I adored Isaac. He was such a great character. All the scenes he was in I always found myself laughing. Overall I rate this movie a definite 5 out of 5. It's a movie that can't be missed ! |
