my rating | my thoughtsEven though this review is going to be short as Just one night is only a forty page novella I really wanted to do a review anyway because this novella was perfect! I don't particularly read novellas, I have actually only read one other novella before. But I had to pick up this novella because as you know if you have read Just one day and Just one year the ending of those books kill you! The ending is such a cliff hanger and you have to know what happens. So really this novella pretty much gives you a few more chapters after what happed in the previous books. I read Just one night smiling like an absolute lunatic. This novella was everything I wanted and more. After reading this I felt such closure to Alyson's and William's story. It ended exactly how I wanted it to. I really thank Gayle Forman for writing this novella and giving her readers and fans of these books closure and a sense of satisfaction. I have read so many books where you read the end of the book and there is so much left unsaid so many things that didn't get talked about in the ending, or a ending where the cliff hanger is just insane. Gayle Forman didn't have to write this novella but she did and I am so thankful. All in all without a second guess I give this book a five out of five star rating. |
